Church Activities

Our Churches have a broad range of activities as illustrated below:

Mothers' Union.  We have a very active Mothers' Union which meets on the last Tuesday of each month in the Biscovey Church Room from 2.00-4.00pm.

Fundraising.  Our fundraising activities throughout the year include the following:

Soup and sweet lunches - 12.00 on the first Monday of each month in the Gott Hall;

Bingo evenings - 7.30pm in the Gott Hall alternate Thursdays in the year;

Bazaars - our main fundraising activities.

Social.  We hold Sunday lunches in celebration of various festivals eg Harvest, Valentine's Day, Patronal Festivals, Christmas etc.  

We also host the following activities:

Quizzes - We hold a variety of very popular quiz evenings across the year;

Knitting and craft groups - we hold knitting and craft groups at 10.15am each Friday in the Gott Hall.  They currently alternate weekly between knitting and scrapbooking, although there is often a mix of both each week;

Elderberries - Our over-55s group.  This group meets fortnightly, on Wednesdays, in the Gott Hall between 2.00 and 4.00pm.  Occasionally, the group goes out to lunch.
