ECO CHURCH

Creation Care - Rachel Hopkins - Creation Care Co-ordinator.

Recently, the Parish celebrated the announcement that it had been awarded a Bronze Eco Church award.

What is Eco Church? Eco Church is a community of churches of all shapes and sizes, who care about God’s Earth and are committed to improving the biodiversity of the green spaces it is responsible for

and to take steps to cut our carbon footprint to net zero by 2030 and speak up about the climate crisis.

Eco Church welcomes churches from all denominations and none. We are blessed to live in a beautiful part of the country, surrounded by lush farmland,

beautiful beaches, stunning coastline and idyllic woodland. As stewards we are called to care for our natural environment and support the fragile eco system that is in crisis.

Our Parish has answered this call! We are taking steps to care for those parts of God’s good creation for which we have responsibility. We will begin working towards cutting our carbon footprint.

We will speak and act boldly to promote, cherish and share God’s creation and work in partnership with others who share the same aims.

Want to get involved? Follow us on our Parish of Par Facebook page and leave a message via messenger.
